Rain`s R32 GTR

A big thank you to Rain, for putting his trust in me and endless-r and allowing us to make him this car, Thanks mate! I hope your keeping well. (now would be a nice time to write about how much Rain is enjoying the car etc, considering the car was started 3 years ago hehe but its still waiting for him at Endless-R car storage) hehe

So I will tell you about spec in brief
2700cc full counter engine
Full tuned head
Trust 517Z turbos
6 speed R34 GTR transmission
Painted in KY0 silver (same as Z-tune)
380mm R35 GTR brakes and calipers
part spot welded chassis

Goal was to make a car faster than his Z-tune, for much less money, so 1.5bar boost and jugging from the Nismo clutch giving up, (mentioned further down) I think we did that, and exceeded our own expectations

Car is wire brushed in key places as its now going to Super Taikyu shop to be spot welded to add some strength to the 20year oil chassi
















Spot welds and engine bay is now all painted in Kyo Silver

Normal RB26DETT water pump vs N1 water pump, pump is bigger




Oil pan is enlarged to 8ltr capacity so oil pick up has to also be modified




Head Tuning, combustion is 9.0:1, Head is fully processed














The team get to work on assembling the engine and fitting into the car

Trust pipign kit is modified as no air flow meters are needed

Dry Carbon bonnet with Z-tune style ducts (to match this owners other GTR, which is a real Z-tune) weight comes in at 4.1kg, and very rigid compared to dry carbon.




















R35 GTR brakes, all 380mm fitting perfectly under the 18" rays TE37s.
We had a racing brake company make the the caliper brackets in a special metal, Very hard Aluminum (similar to magnesium)

6 speed transmission for R34 GTR is put into the car, It was installed with Nismo super copper mix twin plate, but at 1.4bar the clutch slipped completely, which means either nismo copper mix operating loads are a little optimistic, our this 2.7ltr is performing far better than our expectations, it was then changed for an ATS carbon triple plate clutch.


Interior was fitted with R34 GTR front seats, and then we handed it over to Robson leather to have the seats completely renewed






A nice finishing touch was adding the 6 speed Endless-R badge to the gear stick as its running the 6speed transmission Getrag from the R34 GTR...which is perhaps one of the most enjoyable modifications any owner can do to their street GTR

  1. I randomly thought about R32's and I searched high and low for Rains car. This is bar none one of my favorite builds ever.
